Estimates of energy intensity for the iron and steel sector

RITE has estimated the energy intensity of the steel productions in major countries. Here the estimated energy intensity of BF-BOF and scrap-EAF routes in 2019 is provdided.
We believe this work would contribute to the discussion of effective CO2 emission reduction measures throughout the world.
