INDONESIA - JAPAN CCS WORKSHOP

Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) deployment has been increasingly demanded and encouraged to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, which is reflected in conclusion of COP16 held in Mexico last December that CCS is eligible for Clean Development Mechanism. This workshop provides an opportunity to exchange information on CCS technologies and to identify steps toward CCS collaborations between Indonesia and Japan. It is also aimed at developing CCS collaboration (including EOR) between two countries to contribute to mitigating Indonesia’s greenhouse gas emissions.
